Introduction. The transformation processes taking place in the modern world at an ever-increasing speed are leading to tectonic changes in all spheres of human activity. In this rapidly changing world, continuously evolving modern technologies are increasingly penetrating all spheres of society, not only affecting production processes but also shaping a new digital environment and driving shifts in social paradigms and cultural codes. Axiological perspectives on the changing world reveal the full spectrum of a new system of human relationships to ongoing change, innovation, and education. Alongside other factors, creativity has led to tremendous progress in science and technology, which in turn propel rapid social change and the transformation of cultural values, including creativity itself. This study aims to examine the evolution of creativity as a value in the modern digital world.
Materials and Methods. The study is based on a review of Russian and international scientific literature on axiology and creativity, using methods of analysis, comparison, systematization, and generalization.
Results. Our analysis of both Russian and international research revealed that contemporary realities are defining a new perspective on axiology — a digital one — in which traditional values are imbued with new meaning, and new value orientations are emerging as a product of digitalization itself. The digital age has undeniably transformed the landscape of creativity, providing new tools and platforms, but has also created challenges that, if left unaddressed, could undermine the very essence of creative expression. Creativity is not limited to generating new ideas; it fosters self-expression and self-realization, which are fundamental aspects of human identity, culture, and society.
Conclusions. Implementing an axiological approach to the use of technology in creativity can help to find a balance in which creativity is enhanced within the ever-changing palette of human expression through the rational use of digital technologies. Artificial intelligence, as a product of creativity, is merely a powerful tool that enables the realization of creative ideas, and not a substitute for human creativity.
